Kuunari

Well, day 2 of our move was really day 1, as the former owner of our house was not out at closing. A cool $300 a day got her moving, and she was “out”.

Of course when we arrived, that wasn’t exactly the case. She had left a bunch of junk in the garage, the refrigerator and some of the cabinets (including all her cookware). We thought about keeping it, but our better natures’ won out and we called our realtor to arraign a pick up of the junk.

This was in between calling the Gas Co. because the gas link in the basement never got fixed. Luckily, the former owner paid for the that repair as well.

Sure, it’s been a rough start, but we’ve got a lot in, and the process of cleaning out the leftovers of a slightly confused lady is going well.

I’ll make sure to take more pictures tomorrow to share of the place.
