I can’t wait for Sentinels of the Multiverse

I absolutely loved the first Sentinels of the Universe edition. A cooperative card game, each player takes a deck that represents a super hero and the players work together to beat some big, bad villain. Set in an alternative super hero universe, each card gives hints to the wider comic universe.

However, there were some major mechanical issues. I always felt like the late game really dragged, and we could usually tell if the players were going to win or lose. I’m really excited by some of the changes being introduced in the “definitive edition.”

Interested? This Kickstarter is ending on April 23rd.

There are some cool new additions. Legacy characters, and other ways of added depth and replay-ability. It sounds like there is every a campaign mode that uses events to tell the stories from the comic book universe.

Want to try it out? It’s on tabletop simulator.

I’ll post more once this Kickstarter is fulfilled with my experiences with this new definitive edition.
